I have a wine tour booked in the small Tuscany town, Montalcino, famous for their Brunello wine. Booked through Tuscan Wine Tours with Rebecca, this should be an incredible experience.
Not only will I get to visit and explore the small town of Montalcino, but also get to visit the Abbey of Sant'Antimo (12th Century) and if I am lucky, get to hear the monks sing the Gregorian Chants.
This is the only official planned event I have scheduled while in Tuscany. Everything else is completely unplanned, which is the way I like it. I do not want to be kept to an itinerary. I do have some places I want to visit, but nothing demanding I be somewhere at a certain time.
I think having dinner in Montalcino at night might be grand, don't you?
