Bergamo is just NE of Milan about 45 minutes. Our corporate office is ten minutes back towards Milan. The flight was cramped and long, but well worth seeing Italy again. I just came from the office having spent all day there and have not had time to take a picture of the outside of this hotel, just a couple of shots inside the room.
The employee who met me at the airport spoke some English and with my little ability of Italian, we were able to communicate.
I got to the office a little after 11:00am and was greeted by my CFO, Alberto. He showed me around the offices and warehouse, then he, the owner, and my counter part, Matteo all went to eat lunch at some cafe they go to for lunch. Just a simple pasta dish, but excellent.
Back at the office, sitting inside of Alberto's office, one can look at his window which is the whole wall and see the very beginnings of the Swiss Alps. They are very close here and jet upward. I was surprise they were not a more gradient incline.
Meeting everyone else in the office was fun and Paola made me use my Italian to greet her team, as she emails me in Italian to help me practice. Everyone has been extremely gracious.
As you can see the room is very modern. The hotel Petronilla has been open only 5 weeks.
